Bailey - Spring 2013

Th end of January Bailey was the official "Yule Ball deejay helper."  Dan did the music for our stake's Yule Ball again, and Bailey was excited to be there as a helper.  Mostly she advised Dan on song choices and drooled over the beautiful dresses, dreaming of the dress she would wear the next year!

For the last two years Bailey and I have gone shopping to Portland/Hillsboro for her birthday. Both years we have visited Charming Charlie, where Bailey picked out accessories as birthday gifts.

And this year we stopped at Romy's and found a really cute dress.

Then off to Qdoba for lunch. It was yummy. NOT as good as Tia Rosas or Cafe Rio, but good enough.

And then we bought some goodies at Trader Joe's for her upcoming beach birthday party. These were just amazing - dark chocolate peanut butter salted caramel truffles.

 On June 14th (the same day we left to the beach for Bailey's birthday party), four moms and I prepared lunch for the girls at the McDonnell's house. They left school during lunchtime and raced over to join us for a nice mother/daughter meal before heading back to the school. Fun!

And, lastly, Bailey loves to re-create photos from when she was younger.  She dressed up in my old overalls to take this picture.  

And she and her cousin Mianna re-created this picture.

Bailey is a delightful teenager. She is thoughtful, hard working, intelligent, and optimistic. We love having her in our family!
